Email and SMS campaigns for a carpet cleaning company
Carpet gets dirty on a schedule. Six to twelve months for a family with pets, twelve to eighteen for a quiet household. That means every customer you have already served is a job you can book again with a message that costs about a cent to send, which makes this the cheapest revenue in the business by a wide margin.
Almost nobody in this trade does it. Only 20.9% of listings even publish an email address, which is a fair proxy for how few are running an actual list. Meanwhile the invoice history sitting in the scheduling software has every name, phone, address and service date needed to build one.
What works is a reminder tied to the last job date, not a monthly newsletter. "It has been eleven months since we did the family room and stairs. Same rooms is $169 and I have two Thursdays open this month." Send it by text, not email, and expect a booking rate in the single digits per send, which on a list of 400 is a strong week.
By day fourteen the first send is out and you can count what it booked.
